DEVELOPMENT OF TECHNOLOGICAL SPACE IN RELATION TO ECONOMIC ACTIVITY AND QUALITY OF LIFE OF OLDER PEOPLE
The study provides an overview and analysis of scientific works of domestic and foreign scientists, which consider the issues of the technological space in relation to the economic activity of older people, assesses the ability of older people to participate in changes in the socio-economic conditions of life, including by incorporating new technologies into the process of satisfying everyday practices, as a response to the modern challenges of digital transformation. Indicators of life satisfaction and assessments of the future allow us to identify the ability to adapt for changes, resilience. The aim of the work is to assess the level of knowledge of the development of the technological space in Russia in relation to the economic activity and quality of life of older people; identification of the main directions of research in this area. Methodology: an interdisciplinary approach that meets current trends in prioritizing the formation of demographic changes in the study of the quality of life of the population and the influence of various economic factors, including technological space; an integrated approach was used to study the impact of technology on the elderly; the analytical method was used to analyze the scientific works of domestic and foreign authors. Results. A significant proportion of research in the field of interaction of older age groups with a computer, in particular the development of Internet technologies, is empirical. Less attention is paid to the consideration of increasing competence in the use of other digital devices. In addition, the issues of digital inequality and technoageism, social inclusion through interaction with technology, as well as the technology market for older people are relevant and widely discussed in the development of the technological space in Russia in relation to economic activity and the quality of life of older people.
