The aim is to explore the potential of partnerships between Islamic education in Indonesia and industry to enhance the effectiveness of educational innovations and develop creative approaches to learning that meet the needs of modern society. This study provides an overview using a comparative analysis of the source material. The study identified opportunities and challenges in partnerships between Islamic education and industry. Opportunities include the development of appropriate curricula, the development of soft skills based on Islamic values, resource provision, entrepreneurship, and collaboration in research and innovation. Challenges include the alignment of curricula, differences in goals, work culture, financial resources, and the sustainability of the partnership.
