FEATURES OF INNOVATION DIFFUSION IN CONSTRUCTION

On the stage of globalization and permanent scientific and technological progress, the level of the enterprises innovative activity plays the key role in the efficiency of their activity. The innovative development level in Russia significant lags behind global trends, this caused by a number of reasons that are considered in this article. It is proved, that the diffusion of the results of scientific and technological progress is subjected to cyclical development, that allows predicting the expected results in production activities for the coming decades and developing a strategy aimed at gaining a leading competitive position. The aim of the study is to analyze the prerequisites for further scientific and technological development of the leading countries and Russia as well as to determine the reasons for the lag in development of domestic industries from the global ones. As the result, the article discusses the main trends of the sixth technological mode, the specific features of development of this mode for the construction industry, identifies the factors that suppress the enterprises innovation activity of the construction industry and restrain mastering the techniques of the sixth technological structure by companies of these industries. The paper introduces as well the promising forms of financing innovation, as one of the main reasons hindering innovative development. Methods. Authors determined the range of problems of innovative development of domestic industries, which are still relevant today despite the long period of their study and decision. As the result of the study, the main directions and ways of solving the scientific and technological backwardness of Russian enterprises in various industries were determined.
