MECHANISMS FOR MANAGING THE INTELLECTUAL AND INNOVATIVE POTENTIAL OF A MINING ENGINEER AT AN ENTERPRISE
Problem and goal. The modern economy needs engineers with new competencies that can give a positive impetus to the development of further competitiveness of enterprises. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the effectiveness of the implementation of the model for managing the intellectual and innovative potential of a mining engineer at an enterprise.
Methodology. The study involved the stakeholders of the mining industry. 56 respondents were interviewed. To study the level of intellectual and innovative potential of the staff, the method of D. Hawkins was used. For self-assessment of innovative abilities, creativity, an author's questionnaire was developed.
Results. It was found out that most of the mining engineers have a low innovative potential, most of the employees have a negative attitude to change, tend not to show initiative and creativity in solving emerging problems. In the article, the author proposes a model for managing the intellectual and innovative potential of a mining engineer at an enterprise, which includes a number of organizational and economic mechanisms, the introduction and use of which will contribute to the development of the intellectual and innovative potential of a mining engineer.
