Russian Internet platforms as an indication of the level of development of domestic rural/agricultural tourism

The article analyzes the level of development of Russian Internet platforms for promoting rural tourism products. Data from digital information providers on network traffic and demographic characteristics of website and social network users are reviewed. Aim. To study modern online platforms for rural/agricultural tourism in the context of business promotion prospects. The work recorded offers of rural/agricultural tourism services using open data from tourist information portals on the Internet, as well as using the services SimilarWeb, Wordstat, SpyWorlds. The paper introduces the comparative data on the number of user requests for information about rural/agricultural tourism. Based on the analysis of information blocks of federal Internet portals, a conclusion was made about the possibilities for further development of virtual resources to expand the supply of rural/agricultural tourism services in our country, including through marketplaces of agrolandsharing cooperatives.
